USB Wireless Network Card

This is being posted for a friend,that cant connect to the internet :

He runs redhat9. He has a wireless nic, conected via usb. I belive its being shown up in the hwbrowser, so i believe its being detected by usb, just linux doesnt know what it is. The make is BT, and the model is ' BT Voyager 1010 USB Adpater '.

I cant really tell you much more from here, because I havnt been at his pc, but any help would be great.

I am having a similar problem with Mandrake 9.0 and a lynksys WUSB11 ver 3.0 if anybody posting an answer to above post also has any ideas as to the differences my sit. might pose, please...
