USB wifi dongle that works in x86_64
My PCI wireless card died last week, and I had to make a run to Fry's from work. I decided I wanted a USB one this time. I didn't know which USB dongles were linux compatible, so I went with my "the cheapest one is most likely" theory of linux compatibility and bought a Trendnet TEW-424UB which auto-detected and worked, but seems to disconnect every day or two. Nothing a quick unplug and replug can't fix, but also something I'm not resigning myself to. Does anyone know of a cheap USB wifi (g) dongle that works well in 64bit 2.6.27-11 Ubuntu? I don't want any hassles, I just one one that not only has been known to work, but one that works well.
