USB thumbdrive mounting problem

hi all
i m having some prob with USB key drive (thumbdrive)
i m using uhci module.
when i mount my thumbdrive (fstab entry with options noauto, user, and exec) for the first time after booting, it works fine.
after unmounting that device, when i try to mount the same device it also works fine, but if i try to mount another thumbdrive, it doesnt.
i cant figure out why, as the settings for floppy (dev/fd) and USb (/dev/sda)
are almost same

hello
just to make it clear to other, i found the soln for this stupid qstn
USB driver of 2.4 kernel does not switch off the USB device at unmount time
so the device entry will remain while u detach the device
so if u connect other device, driver will make its entry as another device (sdb for that matter). so simple soln is to mount /dev/sdbX instead of /dev/sdaX for the other device

But the irony is if u reattach the previous device it will take it as /dev/sdaX

This prbm is solved in USB driver comes with 2.6 kernel. USB driver for 2.6 kernel is almost similar to that of a MS Windows driver.
