Usb-storage disappaered!

I'm using RH9 and I've got a problem with usb-storage module

Strangely about 10 days ago that module stopped being loaded with others at system start, how it did before.
Nevertheless even after I ran insmod usb-storage and opened and closed the mount point dir the module disappear again.

I thought it could be a change of mine in hotplug's conf but I reinstalled it without success

`dmesg|grep USB` tells me this about USB:
