Angry USB pen drive problem

When u mount my usb pen drive with the command
mount -t vfat -w /dev/sdf1 /mnt/usbpen
I can read perfectly from the drive but writing on it is my problem
When i copy a small file (like 100kb) then he writes it when i unmount the drive. And when i copy a larger file then i get an write error.
I tryed alot of things but i can't find the problem

I use RedHat 9 and i have a Sweex 256MB usb 1.1 flash drive
