USB Palm not shown in /dev - Debian etch

Good morning,
First at all, I've looking at every forum + Googling with no success. So I need to make the question.

I've a Treo 600 connected to one USB port. When I try to use KPilot it looks for the Palm in /dev/pilot who doesn't exist. I learn googling around that I've to make a Link to /dev/ttyUSBx, but it doesn't exist!
However, when I do a "lsusb" it shows me this when press hotsync button:

Bus 004 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 002 Device 005: ID 082d:0300 Handspring Treo 600
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 0000:0000
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 046d:c01e Logitech, Inc. MX518 Optical Mouse
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 1241:1203 Belkin
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 0000:0000

ls tty* show this:

tty tty19 tty3 tty40 tty51 tty62 ttya7 ttyb3 ttybf ttycb ttyd7 ttye3 ttyef ttypb ttyq7 ttyr3 ttyrf ttys7 ttyt3 ttytf ttyub ttyv7 ttyw3 ttywf ttyxb ttyy7 ttyz3 ttyzf

I'm using Debian etch with tunned Kernel 2.6.16:

uname -a
Linux box 2.6.16.20 #1 Wed Jun 7 14:21:35 ART 2006 i686 GNU/Linux

Any help will be welcome...
Thanks in advance.
Moisvon.

Is the Handspring support compiled into your kernel, either builtin or as a module? dmesg should give you some information. Run it after connecting the Treo to see if it's being detected and assigned to a device.
