USB Optical mouse Doesn't Work After Installing SuSE 9.0

I am a new convert to linux, I have downloaded several distros but Suse is my fave. Anyway my prob is:

I booted off of CD1 and Yast starts up. My mouse works at this point. It installs the files off of the first cd then restarts. After this first restart I have no mouse through the rest of the setup. When Suse boots for the first time I don't have a mouse in the OS either. I am intermediate in my level of understanding techie talk and commands. I think if someone could give me a solution I would be able to apply it.

Help Please!

p.s. The mouse is a Thermaltake Xaser Optical USB mouse w/ wheel.

Thanks in advance for anyone who has more of a clue about this issue then me!!

You are more likly to get help if you narrow down the problem yourself, eg does lsusb list the mouse, do some research youself eg use the search button to find threads such as this one which suggest changing the mouse type in yast and tell us what you have tried and what hapened.
