USB Multi card reader in linux

want to able to view and use USB multi card reader in linux. Mandrake 10.1
copy to and from SD cards and CF cards.
Keep in mind I am new to linux but know enough to get into trouble / figure it out I hope.
Just want to get away from Windumb.

Please explain install and required packages.

I have a usb multi-card reader and it handle very well in Linux. I see that you are using Mandrake, if you are in gnome, or kde it should detect in and place shortcuts on your desktop to the relevant cards. If not, you will have to mount each drive individually.{the cards have to be in the reader}
If it doesnt then i will explain how to mount them later.

many thanks - as you said put a disk in and away it went - the more I play the more I love linux.
