USB MIDI Keyboard

So I got a new soundcard and got my MIDI working beautifully. I decided to put off trying to hook up my keyboard for a while, because I knew that it would be frustrating. So now I'm at that point and have indeed become frustrated.

There is very little information online about this, the most that I could find was that I need to use a module called usb-midi. As expected, a simple modprobe didn't work. Does anybody know how to do this or know where I can find more information?

The keyboard is a Yamaha PSR 293, I've heard that all Yamaha keyboards are supported under ALSA.
