USB Keypad Installation in Linux

I am trying to install a USB 22-key keypad from Targus on Linux (RedHat 7.3 actually) without any luck. Linux does not even recognize something is plugged into the USB port. Does anyone know how to solve thisproblem? Is there a module that I have to download?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

See http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/searc...pattern=targus (not all inclusive HCL) for a somewhat limited response. However, ya just never know. How about upgrading to MDK9.2 or Suse and see if it recognizes it. There have been major USB upgrades since RH7.3 .
