USB Keybooard/Mouse disconnect/reconnect issue (Genius TwinTouch Optical Office)

I have some weird problem with my wireless USB Keyboard/Mouse set as of this morning. It gets disconnected and auto-reconnected every few seconds (in an infinite loop). now this issue isnt Isolated to my Installed ubuntu alone, I see the same thing on my Windows and my Live-CD's.but since I dont know any computer forums I am asking here... Furthermore when the keyboard does work it either double types the key (for example one backsppace=2 chars erased, one k press goes into kk) or it doesnt type at all.

My Keyboard/Mouse set is: Genius Wireless TwinTouch Optical Office

Anyone recongizes the problem or has any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks
