USB Keyboard activated from BIOS, is not active immediatelly upon boot
I have an USB keyboard, and when Suse 10 boots up, I can use it to move around the loader menus.
Once it starts loading, the keyboard freezes until linux loads its driver, and thus I can't press ESC to see what's going on, until that driver has been loaded.
(first it mounts disks, then keyboard/mouse, ... network, ..)
of course, if I use a PS/2 adapter for the keyboard, everything works,
but why is my keyboard unavailable after the boot menu and before the driver is loaded?
