USB failng after disconnect
Have several stations that use a couple of USB devices including phone handsets and scanners. After boot up they work fine. If you do a "lsusb" they show up properly and no errors in any log files.
If i unplug one of the devices and then plug them in (does not matter which port) the devices no longer work. if i then do a "lsusb" it locks up and even Ctrl-C does not break it. The only thing in the logs is a USB Disconnect, no errors. A couple of other stations configured identical (even the same .config) that are a little newer do not have this issue. The biggest problem is not just unplugging, but after a period of time the devices sometimes fail in the same way. Have gone through the configuration, modules, etc. but no luck.
Any ideas?
