file system for 4GB++ files for both windows and linux?

I've bought a usb 200GB external hard drive.

it runs fine on both windows and linux except for files bigger than 4gb...
because it comes in FAT32...

what is the best file system supporting files bigger than 4GB ?

should I use ntfs (windows compatible) or is there file sistem supporting both windows and linux who is capable of handling 4GB++ files

You could try NTFS and use the type "ntfs-3g" when mounting it in Linux. This will allow you read-write access in Linux. You need to modprobe the "fuse" module and have the "ntfs-3g" package installed.
