USB Errors with Blackberry
When I plug in my Blackberry to my laptop's USB port, I get the following error messages:
Jan 19 15:53:38 brentaal kernel: usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 4
Jan 19 15:53:38 brentaal kernel: usb 1-1: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd vmware-vmx rqt 128 rq 6 len 4 ret -75
Jan 19 15:53:38 brentaal kernel: usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 4
Jan 19 15:53:39 brentaal kernel: usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5
Jan 19 15:53:39 brentaal kernel: usb 1-1: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd vmware-vmx rqt 128 rq 6 len 4 ret -75
Now, I know what you're thinking, but the errors really have nothing to do with VMware, as I can uninstall or deactive VMware-related services and get a slightly different error message (basically just a replacement of the "failed cmd" bit)--but I don't have a USB cable with me at the moment so I can't show you that...
Any ideas you guys can provide are extremely appreciated. Thanks!
EDIT: Should have been specific about the hardware/platform I'm dealing with here...duh!
- Laptop: Dell Latitude D600
- BlackBerry 7100t
- SuSE Linux 10 (current on updates), with kernel "2.6.13-15.7"
