usb+epsonc80+Samba print sharing problem
I have been having a lot of issues sharing my printer on mandy 9.2 kernel 2.4
I have now gotten very close. The windows computer (xp) can detect the printer but then it says that my linux comp wants to load a driver. I'm like sure why not. then it gets weird...it says driver is wrong!!! plz pick driver from list... then it doesn't have my epsonc80 on the list:cry: I load a compatible driver(stylus 400 drivers I read are compatible) then it says printer isn't accessible  I also can't use parallel port b/c of very very very messed up printing (all black pages and ink gets everywhere.... any ideas? any thing else I should post? |
