USB does not working - Why?

Hello.

I have Ubuntu 12.04 and my USB does not work on that machine.

The motherboard is an MSI 7142 ver 1.
If i plugg in the USB mouse, i will get no response from it. But the lamp in the Mouse works if it's plugged in.

I think i have unlocked the USB in BIOS, but im not sure to 100%. Only 70% i might think.

Right now im testing Stresslinux and hopes that will find something.

The computer has been a company computer.

Dolan pls...help.

check the kernel support for usb
Code:
make menuconfig
though i'm not sure if your output above is an indication that usb is supported in the kernel. (might as well try)
