USB Digital Camera

Hello ppl!
I'm thinking about buying a cheap digital camera (http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.sto...ct/View/XH4748)
This camera can shoot short films and also work as a web cam.
Will there be any problems with it on Linux(RH 9 and Gentoo 1.4)?
Are all digital cameras use same drivers?

if you want almost full list of supported cameras look at:
http://www.teaser.fr/~hfiguiere/linux/digicam.html

most digital cameras are connected as usb storage device so they are supported but may not listed there. you just mount it like any other usb storage device

And if it doesn't work, then why not get an equally cheap usb card reader? Haven't heard too many bad posts about them. Certainly mine works a treat
