USB device removal causes crash

Hey all,
I'm getting a crash (kernel panic) when removing my usb keyboard and mouse. I just tested it, and it definitely does it on mouse removal.

This is on a production server, so I do not have the output of the crash since I need to get the server rebooted fairly quickly.

I'm running slackware 10.2, kernel 2.4.31. I have a dell poweredge 2800 server, using the included dell usb keyboard and mouse.

Anyone have any ideas where I can start?

Thanks.
Craig
