USB connection with BT Voyager 205

Hi, I have an ASDL connection using a BT Voyager 205 router, and I have asked if I can connect using Linux via the USB port - my computer does NOT have an ethernet port. Their response was "it cannot, you need to use the Ethernet connection", so I am asking the community if they know of any distribution that will allow me to connect using a USB port and this router. Any advice on this would be helpful, and I am quite prepared to change to any distribution to get this working.

Thanks in advance

It won't work, no. I had a go myself and could find nothing. Personally though i'd really not want to.... why not buy an ethernet card for a fiver? if you've no slots, grab a usb ethernet adapter for fifteen quid max. it's so much easier on ethernet.

and this sort of support would never be distribution dependent. changing from fedora to suse etc.. would never help you out at all.
