i'm using my netmaster cable modem(connected by usb) under win without any problems. I installed mdk 9.2. I chose cable modem on the internet connection settings screen but then a message like "you havent an ethernet card.." appeared. do I have to connect by ethernet? can't I use it on usb?
You should use the ethernet adapter....i have a different cable modem..but before i hooked it up, i read the threads....and there's less problems using eth0
also...a router would make the setup faster...mdk 9.2 found everything upon bootup and installed it for me...
