USB boot order BIOS settings

I just installed Flash Linux on my 256MB USB key and it works fine on my main machine. I am having trouble with the boot options on my other machines.

After I set my boot order in my BIOS on my main machine. I was able to get my USB key to boot just fine running Flash Linux.

On my laptop, the BIOS Boot order setting does not show USB as an option.
So am I out of luck with machines that do not have USB included in the Boot order settings or is there a way I can set these to boot from my USB key?

USB drive booting is determined by your motherboard BIOS. Upgrade the motherboard firmware, and that may fix it. Or you may just be SOL.
