USB Bluetooth: any tips?

i hope this post is in the right spot. i just got a sony bluetooth phone and wanted to get a usb bluetooth adapter for my laptop (running fedora core 2) ive done some browsing and all i saw is an unaswered post trying to get a specif usb bluetooth adapter to work, D-Link i believe.
Anyway, should most models work, if i find some cheap usb bluetooth on the web from a maker im not familiar with should i be worried about problems?

Any BT stick I got works, but it's not easy to get it work, you have to many things on the commandline. Be warned!

Hi,

I have the same problem with thejoker.
My box is a Mandrake 10.0 Official. I saw on booting, that bluetooth device was succesfully started.
Up until now, I still search the way to make bluetooth connection possible between my box and a T630 SonyEricsson cellular phone. Changed setting of KKKP and select device types that use USB, with no success.
Need advice from some gurus out there to make this failure changed to success. :)

Thanks in advance.
