Usb ADSL with mandrake 9.1
Hello all !
This is my first post and i have one question, how can i get my usb adsl to work with Mandrake 9.1 my adsl modem is ericsson hm120dp and i got the driver for it, but i´m linux noob and i can´t get it to work. Please help .... |
Got a link to the driver, I'll download it and figure it out for you, if its a pre-compiled module it might be stuffed because Mandy 9.1 is spankin' new and manufacturers are usually a week or month behind. Also, in the mean time, check to see if you have kernel source and a compiler installed.
For the source, just see if there's a lot of stuff, and I mean a lot in: /usr/src/linux for the compiler, just type: gcc -v command not found, means its not there. Cheers, Finegan |
Thanks for your kindness finegan, but i already bought differend kind of modem, cause i couldn´t figure out how i could have splitted my connection for two boxes with that usb modem.
