USB ADSL modem

I want to try using Linux, but have not found an answer to my qestion in any of the guides I have read. I connect to the internet using a USB ADSL modem. Is it possible to use this in Linux or not? If so how?

Thank you in advance.

It depends on the make and model of the modem. Ask Google

Hi TM,
I am currently using Fedora Core 2 and have my speedtouch usb adsl modem working perfectly. I am new to the community but if this is the same as your modem then you need the speedtouchconf file and a copy of the firmware , revision 4(silver) requires specific firmware. useful speedtouch help site
