Usb 1? or Usb 2?


How can i check wether i got a usb 2.0 onboard port or usb 1.0 onboard port? in Linux!

Besides checking the motherboard manual.
Try searching the web for the motherboard manufacture's website for info.

Does the output of lspci list a usb 2 controller?
Does the output of /sbin/lsmod show something that says echi-hcd?

1.To check the motherboard's north birdge chip.And to see model of motherboard.
2.View the boot message,and you will find the model of usb's controll chip .
