Urgent PERC 4e/Di driver required for redhat 7.2

Hi all,

Sorry to bother you I have been trying in vain to install a Perc 4e/Di RAID card on a Dell Poweredge 2850 onto a Linux based platform running Redhat 7.2.

Unfortunately I do not have access to the Kernel Source code as it is a custom kernel, and would like to install a Raid driver during installation.

Does anyone have a disk image or a driver disk to install this on Redhat 7.2?

Thank in advance

Hi, Mike,

I've not tried it, but this may be of some help:

Scroll down to the ROMDB Types (roughly halfway through document) and there is some info on the PERC 4e/Di . Looks like you need to use the "megaraid_mbox" and "megaraid_mm" drivers... these work in RHEL4, so they probably should be OK in FC7.

Good luck!
