Ups


Hi!

I would like buy UPS, so I was wondering is someone can give me some advice on using it under linux ?

Now I have Ubuntu Hardy, but planning to replace it with openSuse 11

My machine:
core2duo
4GB ram
500GB hdd
Nvidia 8600 GT
Abit motherbord
Power suplay: 400 W

I've always used APC UPSes with Linux. They work well with the apcupsd software.

you could also look at the NUT project compatibility list.. http://eu1.networkupstools.org/compat/

Thanks for advices.

I think this one would be a nice choice:
