Upgrading Graphic Card and got problem ATI X1600

After I installed a new video card and booted up SUSE 10, it said that either X was messed up or my video card was not supported. I also reinstalled Linux and I got the same problem. I upgraded from an ASUS Ati X300 SE 128mb to an MSI ATI x1600 Pro-TD 256E PCI-Express. Im not sure if my new card is supported? Where can i find list of supported Graphic Card?. What's the problem.

Download and install the official ATI drivers. Follow the directions on the web page. They are very simple. A lot of people seem to have trouble installing and configuring these drivers. I have no idea why. The instructions are pretty good.
