Question Unsupported pcmcia card for pccardd

Debian moved from using cardmgr to pccardd.
I'm using the netinst so I need network during installation.

In the old days of using Sarge, I can add my card very easily:
1. Add the following lines to /etc/pcmcia/network
card "Planet ENW-3502-T"
version "planeT", "ENW-3502-T", "", ""
bind "pcnet_cs"

2. Eject the card using cardctl
3. Restart cardmgr
4. Inject the card.
5. Viola, eth0 goes up.

Now I'm stuck with pccardd since I can't find documentation for it.
Tried Googling to find ways to add unsupported cards, no avail.

Does anybody know how could I add my card "the right way"?

Many thanks
