unmount usb device


May I ask how is a usb device unmounted, version 9.0

That's a good question. I just rip mine out the back not really care about it. But, first I kick it. So, then it's ok.

Seriously, I'm not sure. It's configured in userland with sysfs and hotplug these days, and is using udev, so I'm not sure exactly what's SOP atm.

Unmounting depend on the device:
Memory stick/card
umount -l /dev/sda1

usb floppy
umount -l /dev/sda
