unknown hardware...


hey there, im running drake 9. Through trial and error, and tutorial reading, I found myself a command :

lspcidrake

whatever it does, it appears to list hardware, that isnt correctly working. Does anyone have the same hardware and drivers to make it work ? Or places where I can find drivers ? cheers:

If its any help, the acpi demon gets a [failed] when booting.... dunno what that is though :P

also the pci simple communications controler is in unknown devices within windows device manager...

Let's first have a look at what modules got loaded. 'lsmod'

"Unknown:" doesn't mean it's not recognized, just not classified. Looks like your hardware picked up the important stuff.

yea lspci just lists what devices are on your pci bus dude... the unknown your seeing is simply lspci telling you there is no category for the item it found.

what does that mean ? unused... grr, stupid usb, please somebody, help me !!
