Unable to mount the USB Stick


Hi All,
I Installed Fedora4 On my system.I inserted usb stick on the system.the i run kudzu
It is asking password for root....I enter the root password also.but one message is coming the
message is...

[root@vinay home]# kudzu
You are attempting to run "system-config-display" which requires administrative
privileges, but more information is needed in order to do so.
Password for root:
Error creating netlink socket (Permission denied)

How can i mount the Usb stick on my system............

I would propose not to run kudzu at all. Just use the mount command to mount your USBStick...

Why make simple things complex?

I am sure Fedora automounts USB sticks. If using GNOME this should jus show up on your desktop or if using KDE, you should click on the media icon and "removable media" should be listed somewhere.
