Unable to mount on chroot /mnt/sysimage

I facing problem with my linux partition it accidently hide itself. Now i m not able to get my XP o/s also. I had tried booting with linux rescue but it say its " unable to find the linux image on the hdd" How can i come out from this..??Please suggest to save my data.

Did you try to boot with knoppix yet?
Do you have to backup from ntfs and from ext3? Or do you only have your important file on win?

I tried booting with redhat 9.0 bootdisk. But after verification msg prompt saying i donat have any linux image on disk. I think it got hidden somehow.. can we restore it to default or unhide it??
