OK so i am a complete newbie and dont even know where to start. I thought that i just plug in the card and the cd and i'm away. Anyway this doesnt happen. I have an old Dell Latitude CPi and a copy of knoppix and i bought a D-Link that works in windows. I put it in switch on and nothing the light on the card flashes and thats it (when i say newbie I mean it!!!) Where do i start to sort this out. I want to switch to linux and learn as much as i can but if the wireless card wont work its a non starter. Can anyone help me with some real begineer tips. If i can get it working then maybe can wave goodbye to windows...
