U-BOOT ARM: How to copy in U-boot the MMC1 (SD) to MMC0 (eMMC) ?
Hello,
U-boot:
mmc info
mmc0 is eMMC with fast write/read. the default one.
mmc dev 0 0
mmc dev 0 1
mmc dev 0 2
mmc1 is the SD card, inserted.
mmc dev 1 0
mmc dev 1 1
mmc dev 1 2
printenv
shows
boot_targets mmc0 mmc1 usb0
So how to copy within u-boot the mmc1 to mmc0 ?
i.e. How to copy in U-boot the MMC1 (SD) to MMC0 (eMMC) ?
Thank you!
Kind regards

Sounds like a Pinebook Pro. Did you read the installation documents at Pine64?

No. You use dd, and you best get the command correct.

You'd want to be clear which box you have, and what the boot priority is. I gather it's mmc0, mmc1 etc, but you need to clarify. Don't starve prospective helpers of information.

The information is available in the PINE64 WIKI and forums, and that is the best place to go to get a link.
FYI: every time you pull an update that includes the UBOOT code, it gives you examples of the commands needed to install it to the EMMC media. IF you use the gui tools you may not see that, but I always use the command-line and see it. IT should also appear in the update log, but I have not looked for it. Yet. I would bet that it is in the ubootn documentation as well, since those messages come from the package.
