I had the same problem, Mandrake thought my tuner was one type but it was another. I'm running Slackware 10.x now, and for me it turned out to be a simple line addition in /etc/modprobe.conf:
option bttv card=xx tuner=xx You need to download a copy of the bttv tarball and look in the doc folder for CARDLIST.bttv (to get the card number) and CARDLIST.tuner (to get the tuner number). Hope this helps. |
The card looks like it is detected properly so 34 is the correct number for it try either 2 for the tuner if you live in Canada/US or 5 if you live in Europe (where are you BTW). So try something like this as root.
Code:
modprobe -r bttv tuner Code:
>$ cat /usr/src/linux-2.6.17/Documentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.tuner Code:
options bttv card=34 tuner=2 |
I`ve tried both with tuner=5 and 3 but the problem remains, still no channels :(
What else should I do? :( |
