Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

TV Tuner Card

Can you suggest a TV Tuner card that would work under Linux, open-source drivers if possible?

Also, I already have these, can any of them work under Linux?

Not sure if those work. If you already have them, I'd plug them in and try them out. You can post the output of lspci here which should tell us more about the controllers used.

Otherwise, I have a Hauppauge PVR-150 that works great with the stock Debian Lenny kernel (2.6.26). Most Hauppauge cards seem to work well.

You might want to look at the LinuxTV.org wiki.

I had a Winfast PVR 2000 and it worked ok on older kernel but i have not installed it in a long time on any newer computer or kernel. I do remember that i had a bit of problem with the driver.
