Unhappy Tv-out with nvidia tnt2 ultra

Hi

I'm having problems getting tv-out working using my tnt2 ultra.

My friend has got his tv-out working just fine using his GeforceX (using twinview).
Tried his config but it doesn't work.

But as far as I've understood Twinview isn't supported with a tnt2-card.
So I tried using just the TV, not the monitor (as I did when using Windows), and I can't get that working either.

And since I have my redhat9 to boot up to graphical login at startup (anyone knows how to change that?) it's kinda bad when I've changed my XF-config to start on the TV and it doesn't..

The lines I added/changed in the XFconfig to use only TV:

HorizSync 30.0 - 50.0
VertRefresh 60

Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV"
Option "TVStandard" "PAL-G" (PAL-G for sweden)

And yes, the nvidia-drivers are installed and working.
The TV-out is working just fine under Windows so i guess that there shouldn't be any hardwareproblems..

/Andreas

hmm tnt2 support was great in linux, until geforce stuff got big than tnt2 was sorta second to the dev's. I do not think you can do tv out on tnt2, but anything is possible. you seem to knwo about twinview options and so on so I am not gonns give you the RTFM speach.

as for changing from gui login edit the /etc/inittab

change the line:
id:5:initdefault:

to:

id:3:initdefault:

I got the work done.

By using a tool called nvtv -> http://sourceforge.net/projects/nv-tv-out/

Had to tune a bit to get it perfect, but it was kinda easy.
