are there any way to get the tv-out on my geforce 4 MX pci card working?
I found some driver to do that but it turned out it only worked with another chip
I found this in the xorg log: NV17 [GeForce4 MX 440] rev 163 if you need it

Why are you going through all the mess. Nvidia drivers has built-in TV out support called TwinView. All you need to do is read their documentation. Then edit XF86Config. Its usually in /etc/X11.

In RivaTV or for any program, go to the program's directory and then type "make uninstall". Make sure you are logged as root or su.

BTW, did you do a search in this forum. There are tons of posts on this isssue.
