TV-out/dualdisplay feature

More then two months has passed as said in this previous topic on the subject:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=20825

is there a solution to how to enable dualdisplay easily in Linux? Myself I'm running RH7.3, but is planning to change to the Debian test or stable flavour later on.... Any ideas, pointers or suggestion on how to enable my TV-out in a good way would be appreciated. I got a Hercules GeForce3 Ti500, and IIRC Linux has identified it as a card with TV-out at least. :)

Thanks.

Hmm... Seems like I have to install NVidia drivers then? Right now I'm running on the generic ones (the ones that came with RH7.3) as it seems like too much hassle to get the NVidia drivers to work properly.

Maybe I should clearify that what I really want is to be able to watch movies on my TV when playing them with MPlayer or whatnot... Meanwhile I needn't to see anything on my monitor.. I just need an easy way to switch back to monitor view after the movie as I cannot see the TV from my computer...

I'll read this through though.. thanks for the links... :)
