TV card sound problem in Kubuntu Dapper

Hi,
I recently installed Kubuntu Dapper and I must say I love it! Except for one thing. I can't get normal sound with my tv card.
It's Pinnacle PCTV sound card. The sound output of this card is connected to the line in of my SoundBlaster Live 5.1 sound card. I use kdetv to watch television. The only sound I get is noise. When I adjust the slider of the line in channel in Kmix or alsamixer the noise gets louder or less loud, so at least that works. But does anyone have any idea how get the normal sound.
This same setup has worked before in Kubuntu as well as in other distro's.
