tv card for xbox

Hi there. I'm looking for a tv card to include with a new system. I'd like to be able to watch tv and also connect my xbox through an s-video connection. The issue is that hardly any tv cards that i've found support rca plugs, or they don't work well with linux. I've looked at the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150, but it looks like it doesn't work so well in linux.

Can anyone reccomend me a tv card that will work well for my needs?

Thanks,
Matt

That card is a MPEG-1/MPEG-2 encoder also known as a PVR. If you are looking for a quality card, find a card that uses Philips SAA713x chip. It produces the best video output. You also need to find one that has a line out to connect to the sound card because the audio capture support for the SAA713x chip is poor. Cards based on Conexant chips is not as good quality as the Philips chips.

KWORLD ATSC-110 is HDTV tuner and it does not have phono or RCA plugs for audio but that can be fixed by buying shielded stereo headphone to phono cable. Sorry this all I can find that uses the Philips chip and that has line out jack for audio.
