ttyS1 problem or whot?

Joystick Control: No such file or directory

why is happening this?

/dev/ttyS1 is the second RS-232 (serial) port on your machine, if you have a serial joystick connected to this port then all should go well.

I apologise if I sound a bit patronising here, but have you checked that: Your joystick is a serial type and is supported by Linux, that it is connected to the second serial port - the first is ttyS0, and that there is no other reason why you cannot use the serial ports - permissions for example.

i dont have a joystick! The only thing i have in ttyS0 is my modem. :|
