Trying to get webcam working under Centos

I'm running Centos Linux, kernel 2.6.20.4.
Best I can tell, support for my webcam is built into the kernel. I picked up a Creative Live! Cam Vista IM 'cuz it was free after rebate.
When plugged in, it shows under /proc/bus/usb/devices:
===================================
T: Bus=02 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 3 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.10 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=041e ProdID=4052 Rev= 1.00
S: Manufacturer=
S: Product=Creative Live! Cam Vista IM
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=80 MxPwr=100mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 0 Ivl=1ms
I: If#= 0 Alt= 1 #EPs= 1 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 384 Ivl=1ms
I: If#= 0 Alt= 2 #EPs= 1 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 512 Ivl=1ms
I: If#= 0 Alt= 3 #EPs= 1 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 768 Ivl=1ms
I: If#= 0 Alt= 4 #EPs= 1 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=(none)
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=01(Isoc) MxPS= 896 Ivl=1ms
=======================================

But I can't get it to work with any app.
Gnome Video Conferencing comes with this distribution and it doesn't see the webcam. I just installed camstream and it doesn't see any cameras, either.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm not sure what else to try here.

I finally got it working.
For anyone interested, I thought the driver was already loaded but it wasn't.
I got the driver and installation instructions from this site:
