Trying to find and install drivers for ATI RADEON HD 4850 for Linux 8. The video card is recognized but has limited resolutions with Max 1024x768 without drivers installed. This video card is capable of up to 2560x1600. Can anyone give me clear simple instructions of where to find drivers and how to install them in Linux 8?

There is no linux kernel 8, so I'm guessing you mean some random distribution version 8. Which distribution?
