Trust WB-3400T webcam (sn9c103 driver), just won't work for me
I just got my first webcam in the mail (model and make named in title), but I can't get the damn thing to work.
dmesg gives the following: "usb 2-1: SN9C103 PC Camera Controller detected (vid/pid 0x0C45/0x60AF) usb 2-1: No supported image sensor detected". does this mean that it is impossible untill better drivers come along? I have compiled the kernel driver, both as a module (modprobed fine) and in-kernel. other than that i also have searched the forums, read the howtow's, tried different parts of software. but im still stumped. any ideas, tips or questions would be helpfull, cause I really want this one to work Thanx other specs: Kernel: 2.6.11.12 (later wont work with vmware, also tried with 2.6.14) Dist: Slackware-current tried xawtv which gave me /dev/video0: no such device etc |
