Trust CXT24 joystick doesn't get a device node in ubuntu 14.04 (chroot)

Hello everyone,

My joystick doesn't get a device node file (for example: /dev/input/js0 or /dev/input/event0), so I can't use the controller.
I am using ubuntu 14.04 in a chroot with kernel 3.10.18 My joystick is: Trust cxt24. But it is recognized by ubuntu as: dragonrise inc. generic usb joystick.
Information from command lsusb:
Code:
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 8087:07dc Intel Corp.
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 04f2:b48b Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 1bcf:0005 Sunplus Innovation Technology Inc.
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0079:0006 DragonRise Inc. Generic USB Joystick
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Information from the joystick via dmesg command:
Code:
[ 6144.683688] usb 1-1: new low-speed USB device number 6 using xhci_hcd
[ 6144.701961] usb 1-1: New USB device found, idVendor=0079, idProduct=0006
[ 6144.701993] usb 1-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[ 6144.702015] usb 1-1: Product: Generic USB Joystick
[ 6144.702034] usb 1-1: Manufacturer: DragonRise Inc.
[ 6144.702889] usb 1-1: ep 0x81 - rounding interval to 64 microframes, ep desc says 80 microframes
[ 6144.702924] usb 1-1: ep 0x1 - rounding interval to 64 microframes, ep desc says 80 microframes
I have searched on internet but I can't find a solution that works.
I hope that somebody knows how to fix this.

Martijn

Is there nobody who knows how to fix this?
The joystick is recognized by ubuntu because there is a file in /dev/bus/usb/001, but ubuntu will not let it have a device node in /dev/input.
I have already tried to update the kernel and reinstalling ubuntu in the chroot.
