This is my first post! I hope this is good community because I plan on staying here
This is my first time using linux. I am somewhat knowledgable with computers, so I knew to lookup my wlan card first to see which distro comes with drivers preinstalled for it. So I went on google as always, type in zonet ZEW1601 and see it's RT2500. Many people have ahd success with that card with my os PCLinuxOS out of the box, so I trid it. It did not detect it at all, but if I go into the hardware configuration page, I see something with Ralink unknown there. I turn off my comp, take out my wlan card, and pop off te shell on it. I see an RT2561t chip! If worse comes to worse I will buy a new card, but I really love this one. It is everything I need. Can someone please help me? If I get drivers, how do I install them? BTW I'm a linux newb.
