Unhappy Trouble Setting up Wireless Card on Mandrak2 9.2

I am currently running Mandrake 9.2 on my laptop and want to install a wireless adapter on it . I bought a D-Link DFW-650 because on your site it said that it was one of the supports wireless cards. I have PCMCIA loading at boot and when I stick the care in I get the high beap and then the low beep meaning that the card. The message that I get is that it detects that there is a card but it says it is unsupported. What am I missing in order to get this going?

Message in error log:

Jan 25 02:40:21 dexter cardmgr[3572]: unsupported card in socket 0
Jan 25 02:40:21 dexter cardmgr[3572]: product info: "D-Link", "DWL-650 Wireless PC Card RevP", "ISL37101P-10", "A3"
Jan 25 02:40:21 dexter cardmgr[3572]: manfid: 0x000b, 0x7110 function: 6 (network)

This is after I have installed the linux-wlan-ng driver

revision P is a prism3 card. Try # modprobe prism2_cs and then check dmsg. Make sure you have the most recent version of wlan-ng

Didnt work

I did what you suggested and this is what I got from dmesg:

prism2_init: prism2_cs.o: 0.2.1-pre11 Loaded
prism2_init: dev_info is: prism2_cs

But I get no responce from the card.
